The Filthy Freedom Project (FFP) is growing fast and we are looking to develop our editorial, production and social media teams! FFP is an online community unabashedly dedicated to promoting nuanced dialogue on issues of sex, sexuality and body image; we engage at the intersection of race & culture, where self-love is a civil right. Through blogs and video, we aim to lift the voices of those most invisible, unearth the intricacies of identity and highlight the intersectionality of systems of oppression.
Internships unpaid posts which may be eligible for class credit. Interns are expected to work at least 3 months at an average of 10-15 hours per week (with the exception of the Video Production Intern) and be available for a weekly group check-in; interns are reviewed at the end of each month and may be given the opportunity to extend their post at the close of their initial 3 month period.
Interns will work directly with the founder, receiving hands-on experience with online publishing for a rapidly expanding blog community and web show. We provide interns with the opportunity to publish original work, gain online media exposure and help shape the community's direction and content. Additionally, we are committed to providing ongoing professional development and networking opportunities to our interns.
Students and those still developing their expertise are encouraged to apply.
